Homestyle Kitchen was created in 2021 by our head Chef Lucille Banks. She became serious about her cooking in 2016 when she moved to Florida for school. Away from all of her family and majority of her friends, Lucille began experimenting and creating her own recipes. She sold plates and began catering more frequently after having her daughter in 2021.  Lucille currently has her Bachelors degree in Creative Writing and will have her Mortician License in 2024. Ever since a child she has been intrigued by food and the different types of cuisines. Lucille's great grandfather was a professional chef and her grandmother taught her the basics early. She has taken many classes and has a few different certifications in food safety, handling and preparing. Lucille plans to open many restaurants in different cities highlighting our unique menu and original homemade recipes and sell Kitchen supplies so that everyone can upgrade their kitchen. 

Homestyle Kitch'n consists of Lucille and her soon to be husband Uncle Kurt who mainly creates sauce and seasoning recipes.
